"Look Over The Farm Gate" - A free community event! Sat 11th April 2026
Join us for a relaxed evening on the farm as the sun drops behind the paddock and the music kicks in. 'Look Over The Farm Gate' is all about community — a simple night of live music, fresh air, familiar faces, and a gentle reminder that looking after ourselves (and each other) can be as easy as showing up.
This is a free event made possible through grant funding, with the goal of bringing farming families and our wider rural community together for connection, conversation, and a good night out.
What’s happening on the night
-
Live music from The Murks, Numurkah Ukulele Club & The Numurkah Line Dancers
-
Refreshments & BBQ by the Scouts - Gold Coin Donation appriciated
Simply - Bring a chair (or claim a hay bale). Bring your people.
Why we’re hosting this
Farming and rural life can be demanding — long days, busy seasons, and not much time to pause. This event is designed as a positive, welcoming way to strengthen community connection and wellbeing… without making it feel heavy or formal.
Sometimes the best support is a chat, a laugh, a shared song, and knowing you’re not doing it alone.

A rare chance to visit a commercial dahlia farm 🌸
If you’ve lived locally and never heard of us — you’re not alone! We’re The Olde Creamery! We’re a small working farm - with a commercial dahlia nursury and award winning condiment range. We won the 2024 Moira Shire Excellence in Horticulture award too - and this event is a rare chance to step onto the farm, see the paddock, and experience the 'Dahlias @ Dusk'.
Please note: this is a working commercial farm, not a formal garden. It’s real, it’s rural, and it’s exactly what makes it special.
