Stock - Apricot

Soft, warm and beautifully fragrant, Apricot Giant Stock produces tall flower spikes packed with blooms in gorgeous apricot, peach and soft salmon tones.

The colour is wonderfully versatile – warm enough to stand out in the garden, but soft enough to blend beautifully with creams, blush pinks, whites and other pastel flowers. Add in that classic sweet, spicy Stock fragrance and it’s easy to see why this is such a favourite for both gardens and cutting.

With strong upright stems and large, densely packed flower spikes, Apricot Giant makes a beautiful addition to cottage gardens, mixed borders and the home cutting patch.

Plant into fertile, well-drained soil enriched with compost or organic matter. Keep plants evenly watered while establishing and throughout active growth, avoiding prolonged waterlogging.

Stock performs particularly well through the cooler months, with cool growing conditions helping produce strong plants and lovely long flower stems.

For cut flowers, harvest when the lower blooms on the spike are beginning to open.

Apricot Giant has that beautiful vintage Stock look, but in the most delicious warm colouring. The combination of peachy-apricot flowers, tall stems and incredible fragrance makes it just as good in the vase as it is growing in the garden.

Please note: Stock grown from seed can naturally produce both single and double-flowered plants.
